Good questions. by bitflipper 2003-04-17 14:52:55
Sadly, I haven't got sources that would provide definitive answers. For what it is worth, I had heard of Ms. Sarandon's invitation to speak being revoked prior to reading this article, but even that was only hearsay. I'm not sure that I fully credit Mr. Robbins alleged quote of the representatives of the Baseball Hall of Fame (something along the lines that neither he nor the First Amendment were welcome at the Hall of Fame), but, if the revocation of Mr. Robbins' invitation was stated in those terms, then I would find that frankly disgusting, regardless of who made the announcement public.

Friend Viking, you raise some very valid points. Do you have any sources that could answer those questions?
