People scream when we're not active in world affairs. I would be perfectly happy to see the US go back into isolationism ifand this is a very big if, we could guaruntee another world war wouldn't break out. I can't, neither can you.
This argument comes down to this: I believe that terrorism will continue, even if we pull out of international affairs all together, or alter it to suit the tastes of the agressors. You believe that if we (the US) stops being a "bully", it will stop. I think I'm right, you think you're right. |
