First of all, Billy Graham is a joke, all by himself; I think he'd be too easy a target for Naruki's tastes.

Snide comments aside, however; Graham, Helms, Buchanan, et al. illustrate quite clearly that religious fanaticism is not solely the domain of the poor and/or uneducated.

I hope you are not implying by your comments that you feel terrorism, in any cause, is somehow a legitimate means of attracting attention? Somehow, Sparky, I just can't see you upholding a statement like that; you are far too principled a being to hold with such obvious nonsense.

I can see that U.S. foreign policy would appear to some as high-stakes blackmail. But, ultimately, any threat of taking lives and destroying property in the name of a cause is the same kind of blackmail. But, offhand, I do not recall any terrorist groups attempting to use diplomatic channels to air their grievances.
