Yep. Read The Guns of August but I haven't gotten into any of her other works. I'm busy gobbling up The Renaissance at War by Thomas Arnold. Did you know that pikemen had to occasionally hold those 18+' pikes out from their body as far as possible? Can you imagine the upper body strength required for that? Crikey...
