an American Communist party. But I do know some American socialists. They generally believe that they can encourage our government towards a more socialized stance in areas such as medicine. They aren't out for wholesale replacement of the government. I often think that our whole conceptualization of the political system is a little whacky. Most generally I've seen it expressed as a line with communism to the left and fascism to the right suggesting our current system as somewhere in the middle. But it seems to me that capitalism is more diametrically opposed to communism in an economic sense... Anyway, all of them are simply political and economic system of governing, none of them establish whether a person loves their country or not.
