not naive. I think you may be avoiding the conclusions of your knowledge though. I think this is part of why we should be shown the body bags coming home, and the Iraqis killed (combatant and non alike), and the bravery along with the cowardice of the looting and profiting. I think without it we are able to *too easily dismiss the consequences of our actions*. It's not real. We *are* desensitized already, and I think that some horror would shake people up. As the article I referenced (remember the article?) says, 9/11 shook people up, but their was the possibility for positive change out of that instead of plunging down the finger pointing retributive path we took.
