Newbie geek project... by Viaken 2003-04-17 08:47:56
Just because I can... lol I'm planning on taking a very large case my dad has and putting two 486 computers in it... lol Or old pentiums if he has two to spare. This'll be my first foray into custom cases or the like. lol :P I know I'll prolly need a lil more ventilation than your average system... Anyone have any other suggestions? Is there a simple way to run them as one unit? (I don't mind leaving them as two, either, just for the novelty factor lol) From what little I know, the only way to run them together without extra hardware would be to set up a simple Beowulf cluster, which is probabaly beyond me, so... Yeah...I'm just rambling at this point. Leave me any suggestions/challenges. LOL
