I am planning on beginning a southbound hike of the Appalachian Trail in early June. The northern terminus of the trail is in Baxter State Park. This poses something of a logistics problem, as the closest place with a Greyhound stop is Bangor. The distance from Bangor to Baxter State Park is around 20 miles, according to the Appalachian Trail Conference. I am looking for somebody to shuttle me from Bangor to the park. I would be happy to compensate you if you so desired. If you think you could give me a hand with this, please post in the Appalachian Trail Thread in my diary Many thanks to all you helpful UFies!
