Kings of Chaos by plblark 2006-11-19 12:55:59
DISCLAIMER: For anyone who may think that this thread is an abuse of the Kings of Chaos Rules, the moderators of Kings of Chaos gave an official ruling that what we are doing here is legal.

Please note this and do not report this thread as abuse.

How to help:
For those of you who don't know about this game, basically the idea is to attack other countries to get more gold, and gain power (more soldiers) by getting others to click on your links.

Also, please note that the first page it takes you to is a page asking you if you are sure you came from a legal place (yes, you did), so click to continue. Otherwise it didn't do any good. When you get to the second page where it tells you "You have been recruited by...", you are done. You do not have to click "Join the War" in order to help. Only do that if you want to join and have fun with the rest of us!

In any case, if y'all want to help out the team, the links can be found in two places:

Be patient, the lists aren't completely synchronized yet...

How to be added to our lists:
We're no longer listing everyone's links in this post, because it is too long. If you want to be added, do three things: visit fireballmatt's web site and follow the directions; and add it to Ubergeek2's diary under your commander's link. You may also wish to post it here the first day you join so that people can start clicking on you right away.

The appropriate form for links is as follows:

MyKoCHandle http://www.kingsofchaos.com/page.php?id=#

Do NOT hide your link by having the text of the link just be "clicky" or something like that. We're trying to be aboveboard about where the links for this game will take you in order to avoid having anyone tricked into playing.

Common Courtesy:
Keep this to one TLP (top level post) per day. If no one has posted it and you wish to do so, copy the entire disclaimer and create a TLP. Easiest way to copy is to view the source of the previous post and copy-paste. The disclaimer is good to keep uninformed KoC players from reporting the post as illegal, and the other info helps new players get the feel of things quickly.
