Haven't had an LCD yet... or really read up on them. My next display might be though. Some look pretty good. And they take up so much less space and use so much less power. I have used Lens cleaner wipes ( for eye glasses ) that way there is very little cleaner. And it is mostly isopropel alcohol. The special Monitor wipes will clean very well with out removing the coatings . This is especial important as the screen has a large static charge and attracts dust and dirt like a magnet.
