I assume you mean the "get their attention" translation I posted above. It does have a Pratchett kind of feel to it. Trouble is, it could also have been worked up by Robert Aspirin, by Spider Robinson, by the Grand Master Heinlein himself, or any of a dozen other authors I read and re-read avidly -- sometimes, I just can't keep the little quips properly lined up with their originators.
