If you believe that is wrong, why don't we take the Scouts (Girls and Boys) out of schools, as they express morality. Let's take social clubs out of schools, as they express certain beliefs/values that others may not have. Let's take proms out of schools, as they enforce the social order; let's take sports out of schools as they make lesser athletic students uncomfortable.

Play sports, scout, socialize, dance, etc, on your own time.

And for those that have social clubs (homosexual, peace, liberal, conservative, journalistic, etc) in school, lets not fund them and kick them out, as they express views and/or values that are not shared by all.

Once the ball starts rolling, it takes out everyone. Our schools are homes of many social causes that some of us value.

"A government-sponsored institution, such as a school, is an inappropriate place for anything other than factual education."

Or better, yet, let's leave it up to communities, as these issues are not part of the three listed powers of the federal governments. My community will elect to leave them in.
