Regardless of personal opinion, this country was founded by Christians (in some cases, Deists) for the free exercise of religion for all. Christian beliefs are what framed the Constituion. See "Link" post in this thread.

There is, in my opinion, no difference between telling me that I can't even have a moment of silence in school and telling you that you have to pray. In both cases, free exercise of religion is violated.

As for public schools, if a majority of the students want a prayer before a ball game, it should be allowed. We are a democracy, and those who don't want to pray can just think of something else while we "bible thumpers" get it over with.
