Separation of Church and State in the U.S.? by BuggedEyes2006-11-19 12:55:59
Meaning of separation by piroufreek2003-04-02 10:51:23
A *country* cannot have personal morals. (n/t) by world2003-04-02 10:52:06
But the governed can n/t by piroufreek2003-04-02 10:53:10
Then exercise them in private. by NOLAWitch 2003-04-02 10:59:49
Government-sponsored events are not the place for religion. School sports should not begin with a prayer led on the PA system. Let the teams pray in the lockers rooms if they wish. That "under God" phrase has got to be excised from the Pledge. The references to God on all money should be out too. Don't expect ME to swear in court on a Bible or "so help me God".

If the governed want to exercise their freedom, then they should also respect the freedoms of others.
