I am coworker with someone who just last week came back from 21 days in heartland China to visit relatives. His relatives swear that the town that the doctor came from that spread the new hong kong virus has been put under martial law and thousands have died. Genetics in China have no oversight and their own outstanding history of ethics (Confucious, Lao Tze Tung, ad infinitum...) has been happily placed aside in the name of both progress and capitalism. A very repressed people the Chinese. Kept on farms for decades with no chance to advance. They are definately going to explode economically in the near future. And capitalism relies on a decentralized market, with the Chinese political world an entirely centralized one is going to make a few explosions in the near future too.

India seems to be doing something different. It seems to be relying on it's exported children more for power and education than on it's own people???

I'm watching China with bated breath, and India with puzzlement.
