In my opinion, any absolute statement gets marked with a 95% chance of stupidity. Evaluation determines if it really is stupid or not. A whole slew of absolute statements is self-evaluating, though.
Your last paragraph sounds like you are trying to convince yourself that Republicans are all good people.
