This is totally unacceptable by Route 2006-11-19 12:55:59

The dust-up over the Dixie Chicks (one of the singers made a disparaging comment about President Bush) has reached new lows. A state representative in South Carolina has introduced a resolution calling on them to perform a free concert for South Carolina troops and their families, because "it would be a good way to show they're sorry."

That's disgusting. Even if Maines should not have said what she did--which is not an assumption I'm granting--she already apologized. Demanding a free concert for your constituents is totally out of the box.
