linked to anothers diary when we were discussing music tastes before. Some of the songs I have are demos, etc so not illegal afik. Other stuff I have is either from my audio cd's that I've mp3'd or they are from cassettes I have. I do admittedly have the odd song that is from neither. Reason being is if I could pay for the single songs and get a custom CD(particularly at a reasonable price via cheque or money order) I'd consider it. I hate it when you like only one song and find you don't like the rest of an album. With the average costs of a cd ranging between $16-25 it can be a real waste of money(particularly when your on a fixed income). A few other things were things I wasn't able to find locally before. Some of which I did have vynl's of but no longer have anything that will play vynl's and my records are up at my moms last I checked tho no idea where they are.(she lives 4 hrs away)

There are some CD's I definitly want to pick up at some point. I quite like delerium and weird al... and when I can find them the same time I have money on me I'm getting them.(because full collection plus sound quality something hard to find in mp3's)

As for RIAA don't think they can do much to me I'm a canadian and our laws are diffrent.(multi media levy anyone? and if we own it we can copy it but I think thats standard in most places)
