but I'm not going to go chewing her up on something she didn't say. That's the same kind of moronic behaviour that makes people read racist or sexist meaning into totally benign content ('missiles are phallic symbols', anyone?). Alas, not everyone will be clear or correct with their use of language all the time. No, not even you. Unless you want a world in which everyone is always leaping at eachother over misinterpretations of what they said, it's best to give people a little slack. Which is not to say that I'd be holding back if she'd explicitely promoted a homophobic stance.
