I've actually had a chance to use spinrite	by Freakazoid	2003-03-18 18:34:49
Borrowed it from a friend after the laptop's HD crashed (like really crashed, as in heads came in contact with disc surface, not that losing data stuff that people call crashing) Granted the thing was on it's way out already, but spinrite still managed to get most of the data back, even as bad as it was. Too bad the screen's dead on it. (the thing was getting old and finally died, it was afterall only a p100)
