gas prices are expected to go up for obvious reasons. The stock market is doing reasonable but things really depends on what happens after the first wave of attack. They are cracking down on alot of things in the US right now and issuing various warnings. Basically they are making it difficult to do things in the US as far as visiting or going and adding a ton of new "security" things. Which I think are alarmist<??> and are concerning as far as civil rights of the average american go. Yesterday after the announcment apprently some twit sent some fake anthrax stuff again causing a major scare in the seattle area. :P Scary to think of what could happen when people are on the edge. My personal oppinion is do I think there are human rights violations there in iraq that need to be stopped? Yes. Do I think this war is about that? No. Do I think there are alterior motives on the governments agenda? More than likely with all the laws they've passed that they've probably wanted to do since getting in office but found a reason to do so under the guise of whatever. Do I hope that the war will bring about a better quality of life for the people in Iraq? Yes of course. Tho I don't totally agree with the way they are doing things... Do I think Iraq would of done something nasty? Hard to say as they knew much more tech advanced countries were keeping a very close eye on them, and tho they have oil they aren't exactly a rich nation... and tho they may not of liked some other governments I'd not heard of any agressive acts on their part to other nations particularly other nations strong and powerful enough techno/military wise as to be able to easily flatten them.
