The US isn't just going to invade Australia because Australia doesn't allow Nuclear warships to harbour there.
The us isn't going to just attack any country that disagrees with them. They aren't going to attach France, nor Russia, nor germany. If the country is a dictatorship with the majority of it's citizenry chanting death to the US then of course the US is going to feel threatened.
If there is a country that thinks that the US is acting irresponsibly and tells it so without threatening to unleash terror attacks the US will disagree, tell the country to go away, but won't ever even HINT at threatening military action against it.
The US is very isolationist. They HATE to get into wars abroad, and when they do they usually want to get out as quickly as they can afterwards. Whether you like it or not, the US is the most benevolent superpower the world has ever seen, and I think the world is lucky to have them as a stabilising force.
