Tax Time by Arienadean2003-03-18 13:53:32

No I'm in BC by Arienadean 2003-03-18 14:07:28
and BC just raised the rates... Which were $40 and they only raised about one or two years ago. Then just now upped it to $75. The Provincial Tax refund was $50 prior years but now they've bumped it to $75. But up until one or two years ago I could claim it also for my son. Since then they've done away with claiming a child instead of a spouse.(spousal equivelant benifit was alloud for one dependant child)

With my driving due to health. I avoid driving because I have myotonia which can cause muscles to suddenly and painfully stiffen. When this happens and I'm walking I've nearly fallen. When driving once before just lets say the results were unpleasant. That aside I'm also very arthritic and sensory sensitive. While I can drive(and am ok with it in quieter places in the interior of BC) I'm not about to risk someone elses life or my own on pride. I'd rather take the bus and be safe... The only exception is if there is an emergency involving my roommate or like and he has a truck ... tho standard(I was learning how to drive one but basically use auto when I do) I will drive if need be. But I expect such circumstances to be rare.(luckily I live a 5min drive from Royal Columbian Hosital and about a 15min transit trip if I catch the bus/train right)
