You're right, I had forgotten about /Private	by flatlander	2003-03-18 11:22:22
It's the hidden directory where they put the etc and var directories and some other stuff that only root gets to look at. Won't even allow it from su root. Okay, off to root world then. ciao and thanks (this tcsh shell doesn't seem to have that updatedb command though.)
