The Free Land of Caroljoy
"Trust no one."

UN Category: Civil Rights Lovefest
Civil Rights: World Benchmark Economy: Good Political Freedoms: World Benchmark

Location: the Pacific

The Free Land of Caroljoy is a small, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its burgeoning leapord population. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 10 million hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, corrupt, liberal government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 27%. A large private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Retail and Basket Weaving.

Same-sex marriages are increasingly common, the tenet of free speech is held dear, voting is voluntary, and the police force is on a recruitment drive. Crime is moderate. Caroljoy's national animal is the leapord, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the saphire.
