if it's down and you hit 1, what character gets echoed to screen? 1 or !? Mine just capitalises alpha characters, so if it's active (since it behaves like any other key, it doesn't stick down when active) and I hit 1, it echoes 1. Also, I keep an eye on it via the KeyboardLEDs applet in my lower panel, since I have the LEDs themselves set up as blinkenlights...
Dude, modifying your equipment is how you keep it yours! If you have a keyboard you like, learn it and swap keys around, so nobody else wants it! Someone stealing your monitor? Steal it back and put stupid stickers on it (nobody wants my monitor; the drawing of a grandmother playing guitar behind her head puts them off...) |
