It surely is not a legitimate response. But what do you suppose they could do? How can they fight back against an extremely well-equipped, organized army? And is killing children with a car bomb really that much different from killing them by shooting into a house with tank cannons and missiles? The Palestinians can't fight the Israelis in the open and they can't effectively hit military targets because they are too well protected. So what would you suggest? Turn to the UN? Oh, wait - they did. Repeatedly! But the US vetoed against any actions against Israel. What I try to say is that I don't like these terrorist attacks at all. But to prevent them you'd have to offer them alternatives. And with the US blocking any actions against Israel and even supporting them that is quite illusional right now. Oh - and on another thought: What do you think how many desperation and suffering it takes to actually create fanatics that are willing to bomb themselves to Allah or wherever in such amounts as in Israel?
