On the other hand you have yet to give me a real reason the US should not go to War. Refute the list of facts. Tell me they are not enough, that peace should always be the answer, because pacifism can work. But so far all you can say is that the US is not popular and that we are mean and therefor simply cannot be supported. That is not a reason. That is the same line of reasoning that a bigot uses. I AM NOT CALLING YOU A BIGOT. But I am trying to make a point. You cannot say and be genuine and honest that the US never has helped another country, that we never come to the aid of those that are oppressed and have problems. YOU CAN say that we have made past mistakes, and you can say that selfish reasons are behind SOME of our motivation to go to war with Iraq. But all I see is slander, vague accusations without any noble reasoning. Yet, I hear high minded rhetoric. |
