Calculated out the "general" answer for all regular polygons...

s = [(4*a*TAN(180/n)/n]1/2

or

a = [n*s2COT(180/n)]/4

where
s = length of side of regular polygon
n = number sides of regular polygon
a = area of regular polygon

Anyway it was fun to play with - THANX

P.S. If you prefer working in radians substitute pi for 180
