Saddam is a secularist, bin Laden is a fundamentalist. Their views on religion do not get along -at all-. I have always found it highly suspect that Bush would make any connection between the two since they are more likely to be on opposite sides of a dispute than anything.

Which reminds me, there was a recent American study that asked people questions that showed that many of them confused Saddam and bin Laden badly...even some people thinking they were the same person. Anyone have that study handy?
