OK, I see allot of people on this board bashing the US and Bush, this comment is aimed at them. Those of you who post here have to have fun. This is not an attempt to darken your day.
What I want to know is what, in light of all the facts would you do about Iraq. This is out of genuin curriosity.
if you wish to judge any of the following facts go to CNN, FoxNews, BBC, MSNBC, ok basically any news outlet.
Facts 1:
I have watched on C-Span the heads of the CIA, The State Dept. etc... all assert that their are WMD in Iraq (some genious was saying this happened the other way around...and I want to assure you that is not so)
Fact 2:
The UN and Hands Blix have found that to this day WMD are in Iraq.
So based off these two facts we can know that WMD are in Iraq.
Fact 3:
Iraq lost the Persian Gulf War and in accordance with the Cease Fire agreed to disarm
Fact 4:
Iraq is not in agreement with the Cease Fire. If you are unsure of this see Facts 1 and 2
Fact 5:
Iraq under Saddam has harbored terrorist and give money to Hamas, Islamic Jihad...known terrorist organizations. If you say that Hammas or IJ are not terrorist organzations again I ask you to watch the news, or better yet go to israil
Fact 7:
Iraq has frustrated all attempts to Disarm for 12 years.
If you doubt this as a fact, go back to Fact 1,2 and 3. He has weapons, he agreed to get rid of them he has had 12 years and still has them...therefor he is either very slow or has been frustrating attempts. If you are in the slow camp...your in the Slow Camp
Fact 8:
Iraq in failing to comply with a host of UN decissions is therfor failing to comply with the UN (if you don't agree with that go speak to a logistician I really can't help you)
Fact 9:
On Sept 11 the US was attack...if you do not believe that then go to NY and look for a huge hole
Fact 10:
The US is at war with terrorist
Conjecture 1:
The first action in a war is to take out the enemies infrastructure.
Conjecture 2:
Saddam as harboring and aiding terrorists is part of the infrastcure
Conjecture 3:
Saddam in failing to comply for 12 years with the UN and has only pretended to when the use of force was threatened must therefor be removed
OK
a series of facts and then what I see as solutions. Those of you who take the time everyday to bash the US and our president please tell me what is wrong 1) with the facts and please cite RELIABLE sources and 2) If the facts are right please tell me what we the US should do in light of them. And please be specefic and reasonable. I have attempted to be so.
Those of you who do not care should ask yourselves why you are reading this sentence and go back to what you were doing prior.
