More automotive trouble. by geminidomino2 2003-03-07 10:59:04
In light of Route's thread below, I figured I'd post this for your entertainment, or maybe one of you folks can help me out.

My truck is currently enjoying the hospitality of $Local_Car_Bob because of some WEIRD power issues.

The engine stutters at a regular rate, almost like a plug is fouled (plugs and wires checked by me and bob, verified ok). Fuel/Air mix ratio OK. The WORST part is that it only happens about 50% of the time! Occasionally (like when I was driving it TO $Car_bob's garage) the problem will be there, then there will be a "puffy" jolt, kind of like a silent backfire, and the problem will go away.

Carbob is as stumped after two days as I am. He thinks it might be the fsckin computer (its always the computer), but the analyzer shows no errors, MAPS is okay,etc... Any suggestions?
