  I have a looks-related question by slacktime 2003-03-07 10:13:35
Having read through all the comments so far, I was reminded of a discussion my wife and I have had.

Being 47 my hair has naturally become very highlighted with grey. Personally I consider myself lucky as I have known many men who have lost most of their hair by this age and I don't care to color my hair. Be that as it may, my wife prefers me to color my hair, I don't mind the grey. She colors her hair, even though I like her just fine with the grey in it, as she is only a couple years younger than I, and she says if I look old then she feels old when she's with me in public.

The first time I gave in, was when I was unemployed and I was told that it would help to look more youthful (not that any company would practice age discrimination...) Since then I've given in for occasions that she feels are important.

So which, if either, of us is right? What do ya all think?
