minutes, then f*** 'em! This is something I'm not kidding about. This whole "you are how you look" thing is mostly fostered by people wanting to sell you something, and always has been. Being clean, well-groomed and polite should be all that is necessary.
BTW, I'm not claiming perfection or anything close here. The packaging HAS been known to affect me (sometimes even in the manner desired, rather than in the opposite way). I just believe very strongly that how you look (in ways you cannot control in a reasonable manner, like diet, exercise, or some other lifestyle adjustment) has NO business being used in an assessment of a person! |
