| Her son's case isn't the same as some insecure chick who wants to make the fact that she's a mammal more obvious. The poor little guy is cosmetically disfigured, and that can cause stares and reactions that just being a small-busted woman won't.
There is a vast difference between having a body that is so average that it is unnoticed and having one that can cause shock. If she or her son opts for surgery, it's to correct a problem, not to augment something that doesn't need augmenting.
Yes, we can all rant about how the inside matters much more so than the outside, but the fact remains that it's natural for people to react to and form impressions from what they initially perceive. |
