in fact Bin Laden has made many statements condemning Saddam, and it's highly unlikely that his followers would support Saddam, simply because Saddam is about as far from being truly Muslim as one can find.

The issue is oil. Until this country finds a way to get off the petroleum nipple, we'll have to protect our access to it. The recent growth in the market for alternatively fueled vehicles is an encouraging sign that maybe that day isn't as far off as I once thought . . .
