What version of linux? by cmantito2003-03-07 06:26:45
  Debian. by Silvermoon82 2006-11-19 12:55:59
I'm using Debian / Sid, the unstable distro, on a K6/233 with 48MB RAM and 2BB hard drive. Works well, but using X over the network (linux doesn't like my video hardware) is painfully slow.

If you have a reasonably fast broadband connection, you can do a network install off a floppy and download what you need.
