  Try Slackware by ideur 2003-03-07 06:53:25
For floppy install try Slackware 3.6/3.9 or 4.0 (i know they are old but they work.
The actual release ist Slackware 8.1.
Make sure that the VGA chip is suported in X11 And you will need more than 16MB of memory to work a "normal" speed

But i prefer OpenBSD ...
Just to start a war :-)
