NTL haven't laid digital-capable cable to us yet (closest link is about 10 Miles away)

We have 10 Metres of concrete between us & the road & apparently this makes it too expensive to lay cable to us for the analogue service they do provide.

DSL, of course, comes over BT's local loop & I guess we're just on the right side of town...

Hey, I'm not too worried about cable anyways - The Rugby's back on the BBC now & we have DVDs for anything else we might want to see...

Plus this way Mrs fore_deck is restricted to only about 10 soap operas to choose from...

The only thing I miss is seeing The West Wing earlier.
