I have a friend who is an absolutely amazing seamstress, and yet she's always doubting herself. She frets about everything.
This is a big (bi, poly) Yorkshire lass, and when I took her to a party with a bunch of (bi, poly) people who like big girls... she was worried they wouldn't *like* her! They were fighting for space!
I keep getting told I do the same thing, but I don't care if people like me or not, and there's a difference between low self esteem and knowing you have considerable room for improvement. |
