Ok, nother stoopid question...
Got a SCO Openserver Desktop 5.0.5 box (don't ask why, just accept it willya...)
Had a 3COM 3C900 working fine.
Sold 3C900 to customer (needed it for his SCO box)
Replaced mine with Netgear FA311 with SCO drivers on latest install disk downloaded from netgear
It chokes - install went fine, netconfig went fine, kernel rebuild went fine, but can't even ping out or in (ping:sendto: host is down) even with ping -r
Options: 1 fix it. But haven't time or patience
2: replace it - preferred. Please - can anyone recommend a Cheap, reliable NIC for SCO with readily available drivers?
