It says in the abstract "The discussion system then receives comments relating to the selected item and generates a message that includes a description of the selected item and the received comments."

It never says item for sale, just item. As I see it, every UF strip is an item.

Elsewhere in the patent, it does specify item for sale, but IANAL, so I am not sure which takes precidence.
