Thought it might deserve its own TLP. I'm sure you all know about Fred Rogers' death by now... It's been posted twice. I just felt the need to share something I read in a Reader's Digest article on him, that I haven't seen in any of these press releases and such. Fred Rogers never owned a new car in his life. They were always second or third hand. One time....I think it was early 90s...his car was stolen. The next day, it was returned with a note reading, "Sorry. Didn't know it was YOUR car." ...He didn't have the case investigated. ;)
