For Estes ignitors. An Aerotech copperhead will take 12v, but I kind of doubt you've got an Aerotech motor if you don't have something in which to put it. I would suggest not doing anything with it unless you want to launch a rocket. You can always soak it in water to destroy the casing and do something with the black powder (again, assuming an Estes motor as opposed to composite).
