| So you don't believe in God. At least, not |

the Christian one. What do you believe in?
Have you seen The Matrix? (Silly question - I think everybody has, or at least know about it by now). How do you know that the premise of that movie is not true? How do you know anything at all? We are talking Truth, here.
One thing you may admit to knowing is things like 'the sun will rise tomorrow', or 'apples always fall downwards'. Is this knowledge more than a statistical probability based on previous observations? Can you call this knowledge Truth?
God seems to be inextricably tied up in people. If it weren't for people, God would not exist. And according to the Bible, he created everything for us. So does this mean that we should believe in People? Do we know for sure that people exist?
We may have the beginning of something here. If People exist, then by definition I am one. And if I don't exist, then everything else is irrelevant. So if there is to be meaning to any philosophical musings, then People exist.
At least, that is what I believe. Prove me wrong if you can. Or at least tell me what you believe in? |
