Canadian CD Levy by lord_dolphin2003-02-27 12:37:49
Well I'd like to know.... by tonza 2003-02-27 14:10:45
how the music companies can get a law passed like this. I mean, wouldn't it seem that the only people in the country FOR this type of thing would be those music companies? So I'm counting the entire population of Canada vs. a couple of corporate types at some music companies. Why did Canada lose? There's something very wrong there.

We have something like this in Colorado. It's the law to have auto insurance, and along with that, it is required that we have "uninsured motorists coverage" to pay for all the people who don't have insurance. Now that doesn't seem very fair, does it!

I like that quote that was on the main page a couple days ago, something like "we might as well pirate music, we're paying for it like we are anyway"
