Here's my response:

You don't believe in the religion to be saved. You believe in the basis for the religion. I don't believe in the Baptist Denomination, I don't believe in the Catholic Church, I believe in the Bible that all these are based off of.

And your second question I've answered before as well. See Romans 1 - Nature itself declares God's majesty and humans have no excuse. How will God judge those who have never heard the name of Jesus? I do not know, but I will assume (based on my understanding of the Scriptures) that he will judge them by the intent of their heart.
