The Federation of Mimi Land is a small, economically powerful nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 8 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.
The large, corrupt government concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 18%. A large private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Information Technology.
The death penalty has been reintroduced and scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low. Mimi Land's national animal is the cat and its currency is the treat.
