| You cannot *know* everything |

There are some things you *have* to take on trust. Let me use one example - marriage/love/lifetime commitment of some sort. You *cannot* know that you will always love each other, or that this will be the right person to spend the rest of your life with. You have to put your trust in this person, that they will not rip your heart out (figuratively or literally ;-) I recognize that you are much more analytical than many people are. As such I could see you having difficulties with such blind trust. But there is always some point where you will have to.
You can have all the facts available, and play the odds however you want, but when it comes right down to it you will always have to trust blindly to at least some extent. Do you test every chair for stability before you sit in it? No, you trust that the chair will hold you as chairs are supposed to. Do you wreck a new car to make sure it will survive a crash? No, you trust that the car is made correctly and will perform as intended.
