Don't feel alone. I grew up in a VERY religious environment. It didn't stick. I was the original doubting Thomas. I pointed out to whoever tried to change my mind that you could read ANY thing out of context, expecially when the context isn't provided. If you try to read the Bible like a book, it doesn't scan. People "Read-in" what they see. Whether or not they are right I don't know. But I do know that I can't follow that way of thinking. Never have been able to. Ya gotta "Show me". I guess that that's how I ended up marrying a Chinese Buddhist? \8^)
